Our
church has participated in the One Great Hour of Sharing Offering annually
since its inception following World War II. Currently nine denominations are
involved. PC(USA) uses their funds for ministries of:
Disaster
and Refugee Assistance
Presbyterian
Hunger Program
Self-Development
of People
A
significant portion of those ministries are funneled through Church World
Service. Today projects supported by the OGHS are underway in more than 100
countries including the United States and Canada. In recent years
Presbyterians have given about $10 million annually.
