About The Center for Lupus Care
The
Center for Lupus Care (CLC) is a non-profit organization whose mission
is to educate the general population about Systemic and Discoid Lupus
Erythematosus, commonly known as SLE or Lupus, with emphasis on
diagnosed patients throughout the lupus community.
Lupus
is an autoimmume disease affecting approximately two million people
in this country. Because 90% of the diagnosed patients are women, it
is some-times referred to as a women's disease. However, 10% of lupus
patients are men. Women are usually diagnosed during their child
bearing years.
The

read and re-search all manifestations of lupus. This library also
contains a viewing area. All videos, CDs, and DVDs of lupus lectures
from around the world can be viewed privately.
CLC
